The story
Tigre represents the pioneering spirit of Ninety Plus, as it utilizes the Folio™ processing technique originated by Ninety Plus founder Joseph Brodsky in which other parts of the coffee plant are used during fermentation. Tigre illustrates the broad possibilities of the Folio™ approach, as it has a heavy mouthfeel while retaining an exceedingly complex aroma.
Championship highlight
Daniel Remheden of Sweden was the first to present Ninety Plus on the world stage at the World Barista Championships in 2008, using a predecessor of Tigre. It was the first time a single-origin natural process coffee was used in competition.
